Sure it might take CPU to de-compress the file, but if it keeps us from enlarging the diskspace in the next 2-3 years who care about that less CPU. what should i do? Disk time is expensive, processor time is cheap. Compress Drive To Save Space Like already mentioned - this isn't really a valid option as I have tens of thousands of files I would like to uncompress.
