Here are the steps I used to fix PXE on the DPs and get OSD running again: untick the enablePXE checkbox on the distribution point.

  • Last line in SMSPXE.log was ================= PXE Provider shutdown. ===================== I did a lot of things after that: -Restart WDS services-Update both boot images and checked properties-Restart multiple Site servers-Checked logfiles
  • I've removed the boot image from the DP also.
  • If itfails to delete due to permission issues with the SMSTempBootFiles path, deleteall folders except that one and then rename the remoteinstall folder somethingelse.
  • For some (whatever) reason, the DP cert, while working for the DP (software was distributing fine) it wasn't working for the PXE point.
  • Thanks, I appreciate your time as this corrected my issue also.
  • Edit: And now I see your reply downthread confirming this is the issue.
