Thats by design when moving mailboxes between stores in SP1 and later: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232039.aspx However, you shouldnt see those errors and I see many reporting this after SP2 RU3. If you dont remove it, the source mailbox will remain disconnected in the source database until the mailbox retention time expires.
